Fran Piekarski, CPG,IAC
President
Sue has a master’s degree in Gerontology and has worked in the field of gerontology for close to 30 years. She was the recipient of the YWCA Marguerite Henry Leadership Award for Communications/Technology and the Influential Women in Business Award from the Business Ledger and NAWBO. Her previous company AgingInfoUSA, received the Excellence in Business Award from the Business Ledger and was nominated for the Chicago Innovation Award. Her books and programs have aided family caregivers around the country in defining the vital resources needed to help them maneuver through their caregiving journey. In late 2017, Sue partnered with Living Life with Dignity to support family caregivers by way of geriatric care management, along with the elderly and those with mental health issues through guardianship services.

Fran is a Certified Integrated Aromatherapist and a speaker, author, mentor and founder of Living Life with Dignity. She founded the company to advocate for those that are not able to find the support they need to have a quality life. Patience, compassion, strategic planning abilities and resources are the foundation for support to those that are stressed and overwhelmed by everyday life while trying to manage their own personal challenges or care giving for a family member. This is the basis of why Living Life with Dignity was created. Fran is a certified professional guardian, holds a Level II CD certificate from the Institute for Chronic Disorganization. Fran is a Certified Dementia Professional (CDP), Fran has been featured on TLC's "Hoarding, Buried Alive", WGN morning show, WGN Radio "The Wendy McCormick Show" and many print media articles including an editorial by Sun-Times columnist, Marc Brown.

Lisa Rae
Social Worker
Lisa Rae has been working with Life with Dignity as a Geriatric Case Manager since 2021and has a bachelor’s degree from Lewis University will receive a master’s degree in Social Work this year from Aurora University specializing in Gerontology. She coordinates and facilitates client care through assessment, evaluation, planning and implementation. As an advocate for our clients, she manages discharge plans and work collaboratively with patients, families, and health care associates to ensure high quality care. For over 23 years Lisa has worked in various positions in the geriatric health care spectrum including Assisted Living Director, Resident Services Director, Assistant Executive Director, and Executive Director. She enjoys creating positive connections with residents, families and staff through compassion, collaboration, and teamwork. Lisa also owns LFT Management, LLC, which manages Cognitive Care Counseling, PLLC., providing psychotherapy and cognitive training for the geriatric population. We strive to make an impactful difference in the quality of lives of our clients and treat them with dignity and respect.

Mary Anderson, B.A.
Case Manager
Estate Specialist
Mary Anderson is a Case Manager and Estate Specialist with Life with Dignity since 2019. She has a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a Sociology Minor from Winona State University. Her experience working with an Elder Law Attorney began her journey in estate management and guardianship. She enjoys coordinating resources for clients as well as ensuring that their last wishes are fulfilled by facilitating the oversight of the estate liquidation process. As an advocate for our clients, especially those suffering from mental illness, Mary works closely with both the client and supporting resources to promote dignity and the understanding that people are more than their illness.

Tisha Howicz
Field Coordinator
Tisha Howicz is a Field Coordinator with a bachelor’s degree from North Central College and has been supporting Life with Dignity clients since 2021. After almost two decades as a full-time mom, Tisha joined Life with Dignity to begin her own journey as advocate and support. Tisha is instrumental in team organization, downsizing, client and estate administration and overseeing the client billing process.
